They drew first blood

Jimmy Carter showed he is not the peacenik everyone thought he was (Jimmy Carter confronts Sudan officials). When part of a group investigating the Darfur ethnic cleansings he felt he wasn't getting the real story at their government sanctioned lodgings. So JC decided to take it to the streets and visit the refugees. The security head told him he couldn't go there and that they would get shot. Replied Carter, "You don't have the power to stop me." He made it to the place where some of the refugees were holed up and learned about the violence that is still going on. For his cowboy tactics (take note: a real cowboy goes in and takes care of business himself- he doesn't send in someone else) and disregard for personal safety Jimmy Carter gets this week's cyberdiarrhea's Detective John McClain "Yippee Kay-yay" award.

Did I read that article correctly? It said that the reporters did not ask Carter A SINGLE QUESTION at the press conference?
